Home

The Home screen includes two sections myNeshamah and Trending.

The ‘myNeshamah’ feed is personalized content based on the preferences you provide in Onboarding.

The ‘Trending’ feed allows you to discover new content and broaden your interests. If you find content that interests you can move content from myNeshamah and Trending with a ‘long press’ on the content block ( You can move content out of myNeshamah to Trending in the same manner).

New content is uploaded to both myNeshamah and Trending daily, excluding shabbat and holidays.

Explore

The Explore screen includes two tabs: Learn and Media.

The Learn section is your resource to learn more about any Jewish topic. Discover compelling content on a wide range of Jewish themes.

Additionally, consult with our AI-chatbot, NeshamAI to ask questions and learn more about any Jewish topic that interests you.

The Media section helps users discover new content. Here you’ll find trending music, podcasts, videos and more.

Connect

Connect is your hub for following Jewish Institutions in the digital space. Find events, keep up to date with community news and discover content produced or published by each organization.

Follow your personal Synagogue or discover other institutions near you.

When you enter the connect section select relevant organizations you would like to follow (you can always switch these later).
To switch between different organizations you have subscribed to click the small down arrow next to the institution’s name.

Practice

Practice is your connection to classical Jewish prayers and liturgy.

Discover our unique SmartPray feature. Click the ‘SmartPray’ block to create your own personalized prayer playlist just for you. The custom prayer is designed based on the amount of time you have for a prayer and what types of content you want featured in your prayer  (music, podcasts, etc.)

You can also tap the ‘Now’ button to immediately enter the traditional prayer said according to the time of day.

Explore the rest of the Table of Contents to find prayers, blessings and biblical texts.

Once you click to enter a prayer you will see the text of the prayer. There are multiple settings options for prayer text which can be changed by clicking the setting icon at the upper right hand corner of the screen ( show or hide translations and transliterations, show instructions for prayers, etc.).

You can swipe right on a prayer to explore related content to the prayer. This includes commentary, music, podcasts, etc.

You can save your favorite prayers to a playlist by long pressing on the text of a prayer or clicking the three dots at the top of each prayer block.

To listen to narrations of the prayer click the play button on the prayer block.

Library

Your library is where you can store all your favorite content. Create your own personal prayer playlists, save artists, albums, songs, podcasts or any other content you want to come back to.
